Blender 2.93 LTS is now a first-class target (down from the old 3.6 floor) — one of the most-recommended VRChat authoring builds. Per-version feature detection loads the path that works on each build: ShaderNodeMix on 3.4+, ShaderNodeMixRGB on 2.93-3.3, scalar mixes from Math nodes everywhere, version-safe image creation, and a startup log of the mix path. 2.93-only sRGB image-save bug fixed.
Trim rebuilt as a 3D distance field baked into UV — uniform band width on any topology (no spikes or scallops on organic meshes), anti-aliased inner edge that stays solid to the mesh edge (no base-bleed gap), butted/trimmed edges stroked hard to the edge. New Hard/Soft edge toggle per trim. Per-layer PBR: base and each trim keep independent colour / metallic / roughness / emission.
Unity/VRChat export: 'Bake for Unity' flattens trim to baked textures (albedo / metallic / roughness / emission, metals captured correctly) plus a plain Principled material; 'Export for Unity' writes FBX + glTF and every texture into the export folder; Export Scope picks selected object(s) or the whole project, driving both bake and export.
Verified on real Blender 2.93.0 (34/34 E2E) and 5.1.2 (12/12).
